TIHC: Jack O lanterns AND Zombies!

Hello Ladies, I'm gonna keep this short as I have a paper to write, math homework to do, an art project to finished that I've barely worked on, and a chapter to read before wednesday. So, quick, unadulterated, barely looked at photos of zombie nails and my catch up photo for jack o lantern day.

Haha for creative posing I suppose!

Bloody Brains! I did your typical drip mani you see all over the place with a franken jelly I made from a pre-existing pink franken, a little black, and NYC Lincoln Center.

For the underneath part, I had my partially removed Orly Preamp, then sponged with Revlon Flirt, then sponged with NYC Lincoln Center, and finally sponged again with Orly Decades of Dysfunction. Then I used an unnamed Color Club (I think its She's sooooo glam but I can't be sure) to paint the brain bits.

This is my Jack o lantern mani. Notice this is before I nubbified my nails due to massive breakage. I used a base of OPI Did you ear about Van Gogh? Then I did a splatter mani with China Glaze Immortal, Orly Nite Owl, and Orly Faint of Heart. Then I stamped using WnW Black Creme and CH222 and CH 224. Then I used the brush from Black Creme to draw the ground. Finally I used a dotting tool to dot in the eyes and mouth on the pumpkins with China Glaze Orange you Hot?

Hope you enjoyed these manis! I will be back in a couple days to show you some other halloween themed mani's I have done. (I've done one nearly every day this month so far)

This is Halloween: Ghosties!

Hello ladies! You may notice that my nails are strangely long on this post. Well that's because they are fake! I filed down some nails I broke off of a nail wheel because what I wanted to do, my nubbies were too short for. So I decided to try this! Channeling Robin Moses and inspired by this art I decided to make a woman and some birds!

First photo has flash. because it showed the design the best. As you can see, it's just a strange looking lady with long hair and some birds floating in the background.

I started with a base of OPI Roadhouse Blues and the rest is just acrylic paint.

She looks like shes going to throw up. lol.

So there you have it! My ghostly nails. Tune in next time for Jack O lanterns!

Quick This is halloween Watermarble

Sorry this is so late folks, I've been having a weird bought of anxiety the past few days and I am in some serious pain. Also, I'm still getting used to the amount of cleanup needed for my new camera, so things aren't as pretty as I'd hoped. Now, if you remember my last attempt at water marbling you know that...it's not really my forte. I actually did two marbles, one fantastic, one horrible. The fantastic one...looked like christmas. So I will show you that around christmas time!!

Here are the prompts for the challenge

Ugh. Horrible. You only get one photo because its so god awful. As a base I used Wet N Wild Nerd Alert: Screech, Two coats. Then I taped off my fingers and used Sinful Colors Inkwell, Wet N Wild Straight A Jesse, and Nerd Alert: Screech, to create a typical flower pattern in the water. After all that was said and done, I couldn't leave it alone. So I stamped using Wet N Wild Black Creme and Cheeky Plate CH32. The monsters are cute! I loved this mani in real life, but it isn't very photogenic. I should have used a different orange, because it wasn't quite opaque enough and the green showed through.

This Is Halloween Challenge Day 1: Horror Movies!

Hello Loverlies!!! IM SO EXCITED. Yes. I am indeed. I love halloween. I seriously sat and pondered this first day for forever...I finally just decided to do the headless horseman. I should be sleeping, but I had some major issues with my NEW CAMERA (!!!) and had some difficulty getting stuff to upload to my computer. Then, once I sat down and saw my pics on my computer I was like O.O....these are terrible. But I don't have the time to redo them. There's skin and paint that I didn't realize existed. Please be patient with my skills for now. Still learning. Also, Picmonkey.com where I usually edit my photos has fun halloween themed things for October...So I had fun with my watermarks this month. Here's the challenge prompts followed by the Mani!

This challenge was organized by the lovely Bee from Lacquer Dreams. You may remember me doing the rainbow favorites week, also organized by her. She's lovely.

And there he is!! hanging out on my index finger in all his headless glory. I apologize for my middle finger...it looks really dirty, but its just my sky getting too close to my cuticle... and my watermark is a fun potions label.

You can't really see my poor horseman...I took these pictures in my bathroom because of the creepy neighbors..lol. Fun blood spatter watermark. I like that...I need to figure out a way to keep it.

I painted my nails with Orly Decades of Dysfunction from the Dark Shadows collection, and basically covered the whole thing in acrylic paint. I sponged Revlon Dreamer and L'Oreal Broadway Boogie but you pretty much can't see it anymore.

My right hand is just the trees you see on my middle finger.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the ladies' manis and check back for more HALLOWEEN MADNESS!!!
